Pre-K3 Curriculum

St. Andrew’s pre-K for three-year-olds offers an exciting curriculum designed especially for our youngest students. Our three-year-olds approach their world with and through all of their senses. They experience the thrill of learning through multi-sensory play, movement, and discovery – true hands-on learning.

St. Andrew’s innovative early literacy program introduces children to the joy of reading. Children hear stories read aloud, then act out these stories with every student playing a role. Language development also includes reading and pre-writing experiences in everyday activities and approaching the printed word as a natural part of the environment. The pre-K 3 math program introduces basic mathematical concepts, including the calendar, daily weather, graphs, and problem solving.

Interaction with classmates helps little ones make new friends and develop social skills. Energy, excitement, and security, combined with the nurturing love and attention of our early childhood teachers, influence these little ones to grow and develop as members of a classroom community.
